Recent changes to 70-532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions

Microsoft recently changed the objectives of course 70-532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, this is unsurprising as Azure itself is so rapidly evolving the exam requirements can get out of date very quickly. Changes have also been put through to 70-533: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (which is the equivilent course for the IT Pro) and 70-534: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions.

It seems from the requirements they are putting in a lot of effort to mention the Azure Resource Manager, a.k.a. the new portal, which leads me to believe there will be no questions in the exam on the old portal (don’t take my word on this, I don’t know what is in the exam and can only go by what is in the objectives). They have also expanded out the requirements on the App services side to not just include Web Apps but also Logic Apps, API Apps, Mobile Apps, Service Fabric Apps, and Functions.

As at the time of publishing they haven’t yet been updated on the exam page; below lists out what the changes to 70-532 are now:
